PROMISE: The members of the Hattiesburg Church claim the promise of John 3:16! We believe in our hearts that God indeed loves each and every person so very much. As that inspiring book Steps to Christ puts it:
The Heart of God yearns over His earthly children with a love stronger than death. In giving up His Son, He has poured out to us all heaven in one Gift!
NAME: As Seventh-day Adventists, our name denotes two of our most precious beliefs: Adventist reflects our passionate conviction in the soon, literal, visible, physical and audible return (Advent) of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Seventh-day refers to the holy Seventh-day Sabbath of Creation, the Sabbath of which Jesus declared He is Lord (Mark 2:28).
MISSION: Our mission, as God's Church, is to proclaim to the world the Everlasting Gospel, the Good News, in the context of the Three Angel's Messages of Revelation 14:6-12.
DESIRE: The collective desire of the Hattiesburg SDA Church is that everyone would come to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that we would all be found faithful and ready to meet our Redeemer in peace when He appears at His Second Coming. What a wonderful and glorious day that will be! Even so, come Lord Jesus!
